Quonset is an excellent investment for North Kingstown as we get money for the payment in lieu of taxes agreements and lots of jobs for NK residents. Recently the railroad was expanded so goods can move quicker. Thank you to our federal delegation!
I march in the parades and attend the openings of new businesses as much as possible. It is important to be involved in the community. I walk in the serious parades and the fun ones as well.
Town Council meetings are now at 80 Boston Neck Road in the renovated Town Hall building. We are on the 2nd floor in the room that held the council meetings in 1888.
The 350th Anniversary of North Kingstown is a great event to celebrate!
NKHS inducted Army Lt. General Thomas Vandal as the first distinguished alumni into the NK Hall of Fame.
I attended the ribbon cutting ceremony of Navigate Behaviors on Ten Rod Road. The work with autistic children and others to help them navigate the world they live in.
I am president of the Board of Directors for the NK Food Pantry.
I attended the reopening of Gilbert Stuart's house and I am a Preservation member of Cocumscussoc, or as it is better known, Smith's Castle. I am also a member of HisWick, to preserve Wistoric Wickford. My husband & I participate in the annual Shamrock Shuffle.
